Purpose:
The Change Management Manager drives Finance Transformation programs through enterprise-wide culture and behavior change, enabling sustainable adoption of new processes, ways of working, and operating models within AbbVie Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Finance Transformation initiatives that drive mindset and behavior change (continuous improvement, accountability, adaptability)
- Partner with senior leaders to model and reinforce desired cultural attributes and ways of working
- Work with SMEs to translate transformation objectives into behavioral expectations and adoption milestones
- Drive end-to-end adoption of new processes and operating models; align people, process, and technology
- Identify and address barriers to adoption; focus on sustainable behavior change
- Embed change into business routines, governance forums, and performance management
- Develop and execute holistic change strategies integrating communications, training, stakeholder engagement, and reinforcement
- Apply structured change management methodologies for large-scale transformations and targeted improvements
- Ensure cross-functional alignment across initiatives
- Build trusted partnerships to drive alignment, sponsorship, and accountability
- Conduct stakeholder and readiness assessments
- Advise leaders on navigating organizational change and resistance
- Define and track adoption, behavior change, and culture metrics; use data to refine strategies
- Design training to drive behavioral and mindset shifts
- Coach managers and teams to lead and sustain change
Qualifications:
- 7+ years leading organizational change, culture transformation, or process adoption
- Proven ability to drive behavior change in complex, cross-functional environments
- Experience partnering with senior leadership on culture/alignment/decision-making
- Knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP)
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
- Experience designing/measuring adoption and culture-related success metrics
- Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Organizational Development, Education)
