Purpose
The HR Manager is a strategic HR partner to multiple VPs in AbbVie Quality (Operations), developing and implementing people strategies that support business plans and short- and long-term objectives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary strategic partner to business leaders; develop and implement HR strategies.
- Coach and consult senior leaders on leadership development, culture, succession planning, and talent management.
- Attract, develop, and retain talent; identify/cultivate new capabilities; lead talent development and succession planning.
- Ensure effective delivery of HR programs and services; drive day-to-day and long-term HR initiatives and results.
- Build and maintain global relationships across HR (including manufacturing-site HR) and HR Centers of Excellence.
- Consult on organizational design and effectiveness/structure.
- Drive people manager development; partner with people leaders on engagement, performance, diversity, and inclusion.
- Facilitate and model change; develop and deliver aligned communication strategies.

- Prioritize critical projects based on business needs and available resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 6+ years of relevant HR experience.
- Knowledge of regulations/standards affecting the business; strong business acumen.
- Experience using competency model and assessment tools (e.g., 360 assessments, Thomas PPA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; project management or business experience.
