Revenue Accounting Manager (Finance & Accounting)

Responsibilities:
- Serve as subject-matter expert for partnership/customer contract revenue accounting under ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP; assess complex contracts and determine appropriate recognition and disclosures.
- Establish and maintain revenue accounting policies/procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and SOX controls.
- Partner with FP&A to ensure accurate tracking of actual labor hours and support audit-ready, well-substantiated inputs to input-method revenue recognition.
- Perform order-to-cash month-end and quarter-end close: journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analysis.
- Assist with gross-to-net revenue accounting, including review of 3rd-party support.
- Lead preparation of revenue-related disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
- Prepare and maintain SOX-compliant controls for the revenue and accounts receivable cycles.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of financial accounting with significant revenue recognition (ASC 606) focus.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements for revenue recognition, receivables, contract assets, and deferred revenue.
- Ability to manage complex monthly/quarterly close.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex accounting guidance to non-finance/cross-functional partners.
- Strong project/change leadership, organizational skills, accuracy/detail focus, and ability to meet tight timelines.
- Strong oral/written communication, highest integrity, adaptability, excellent teamwork, self-motivation.
- Occasional travel between Arrowhead locations.

Preferred:
- Technical accounting experience in life sciences/biotech/pharma; Big 4 and public company experience.

Pay range (CA): $120,000–$145,000.
