Maintenance Technician- Vaccines

Role Summary

Maintenance Technician - Vaccines. Location: Swiftwater, PA. This role supports GMP and/or non GMP areas at the Swiftwater site and involves working in a 7/24 GMP production environment with potential overtime and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• The ability to multi task, troubleshoot, evaluate and repair site wide equipment is critical to the success of this role and the maintenance department.
• Work on intricate and site specific equipment and systems in GMP and non GMP areas.
• In a 7/24 GMP production environment, work up to 25% overtime with short notice and varying shifts depending on business needs and production cycles.
• Interface closely with the customer to provide reliable, safe, and efficient equipment operation and uptime.

Qualifications

• Required: 2 to 10 years‚Äô experience and a working knowledge of industrial and/or process equipment. High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Associate degree in a specific trade program.

• Preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial and process equipment
• Air Handling Unit Operations
• Tensioning of belts and alignment
• Bearing replacement
• Knowledge of VFDs, VAVs
• Knowledge of steam principles
• JCI Metasys Systems
• Electronics, PLCs and chart recorders
• Clean rooms and air balancing
• Pump repairs, rebuilds, replacement
• Motor replacement and alignment
• Schematics and the ability to read blueprints
• Electricity including single phase and 3 phase 480V
• Refrigerators, freezers, and incubators
• Boilers, Chilled water systems, cooling towers
• Replacement of valves and piping system repairs
• Knowledge of SAP

Education

• Associate degree in a specific trade program is preferred.
