Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance expertise to service, repair, and maintain process and utility equipment (e.g., vial washing machines, sterilization tunnels, capping/sealing, filling equipment, conveyor systems, vision inspection, laser marking, robotics, and other pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment).
- Understand customer needs; work effectively with customers and handle questions with tact and strong customer service.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Improve equipment uptime, line efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness via condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and assisting engineering changes.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment using mechanical aptitude while following departmental rules and regulations.
- Follow safety procedures; safety is primary focus.
- Build working knowledge of the production line and upstream/downstream interactions.
- Assist with setup/changeover of production line equipment.
- Diagnose root causes quickly and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Accurately document repair actions; assist outside primary role and learn other skills as required.

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance or manufacturing experience.
- Completion of Post Offer Exam or Work Simulation (if applicable).
- Authorization to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas/work authorization.

Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Read/write English for technical/business communication; effective team work.
- Use business software (e.g., GMARS, Microsoft Outlook/Office).
- Work safely around hazardous equipment; climb ladders/stairs; use PPE; mobility and fit-for-duty testing.
- Familiar with machine tools (lathe, mill, surface grinder, drill press); read/interpreting shop prints.
- Hands-on repair experience; industrial electrical troubleshooting using VOM/Amprobe meters.
- Military service training; production machine maintenance/machine shop experience.

Additional Information:
- 12-hour shifts (3-2-2-3), 6am–6pm; overtime may be required during shutdowns/emergencies/heavy workloads.
