Operations
Independently perform senior-level technical support within the maintenance department; train lower-level technicians on more advanced tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to AbbVie’s code of conduct.
- Maintain department asset function to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards.
- Assist in root cause investigation and reliability-centered maintenance analysis.
- Train others on tasks.
- Proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines; create or edit maintenance job plans.
- Assist cross-functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
- Support continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.
- Understand and follow all safety and GMP regulations.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED required.
- 10+ years’ experience OR relevant certificate with 5+ years’ experience OR associate technical degree with 3+ years’ experience OR proficiency in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
- CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
- Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools).
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
