Maintenance Technician

Role Summary

Maintenance Technician is an integral part of our Manufacturing/Production team based out of the Quincy, IL - North Plant site. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production line equipment, tow motors, and facilities. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Work hours are Monday-Friday with some Saturdays and flexibility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe work practices and safety procedures
• Follow quality procedures and work instructions
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production line equipment and tow motors as prescribed by the PM schedule
• Execute special maintenance projects, including welding, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry tasks
• Assist in training employees on appropriate procedures and tasks
• Perform housekeeping and general cleaning duties as assigned to enhance plant and employee safety
• Be a member of the on-call team and respond to the plant when required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2-5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting

• Maintenance and troubleshooting
• Preventive maintenance planning
• Electrical, mechanical, welding, and carpentry capabilities
• Strong communication and teamwork

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
