Role Summary
The Maintenance Technician is an integral part of the Maintenance team based out of the US - Sarasota, FL site. This is a full-time, first-shift position responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the production line equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot all facilities utilities.
- Perform equipment preventive maintenance.
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot motors, switches, control components, solenoids, etc.
- Maintain a positive working relationship.
- Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk for shifts up to 8 hours.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility
- 1 year of experience in industrial equipment maintenance
- HazMat experience a plus
Skills
- Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements
- Proven ability to coordinate many activities and multi-task
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- General maintenance skills
- Able to satisfactorily complete all safety related training required to execute job functions
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility
- 1 year of experience in industrial equipment maintenance
