- Hours: 2nd Shift, 2:30pm - 11:00pm. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.
Position Responsibilities
- Own: Learn and take individual responsibility for equipment in your area; collaborate with technicians; help make decisions about equipment, scheduling, and improvements.
- Strategize: Plan and execute PMs, repairs, and updates to equipment using data-driven decision-making; focus on permanent fixes.
- Customer focus: Work cross-functionally with multiple teams to diagnose and correct issues.
- Growth: Develop additional skills through internal training and promotion; learn new technologies.
Education and Experience
- Required: High school diploma or GED; technical aptitude.
- Preferred: Associate degree in a technical field (e.g., Electro-Mechanical); relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Food Manufacturing; experience with laboratory equipment and repair.
Technical Skills and Competencies Required
- Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, or CLICK (or willingness to learn).
Physical Position Requirements
- Safely work in an industrial environment using approved procedures (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, confined space, PPE).
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs (never more).
- Ability to work in environments that may be hot/cold/stinky/noisy/ultra-clean and require additional PPE.
- May be exposed to temperature variations and prolonged standing/walking.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
