Information Research (IR) Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) Integration Lead

Responsibilities:
- Serve as IR M&A Integration Lead across multiple AbbVie company-wide and R&D deal transactions; own program health, financials, and reporting.
- For each deal, establish an IR cross-functional team accountable for integrating or divesting people, data, and systems.
- Coordinate with other BTS organizations, R&D business, and Finance to ensure integration execution; manage relationships, communicate effectively, and support long-term execution.
- Define business decisions, solution options, and recommendations for deals based on model, size, complexity, risk, and speed to business value.
- Track project status, inform management/stakeholders, proactively resolve conflicts, and address user issues.
- Escalate and drive risks/issues cross-functionally.
- Present IR updates in IR Leadership and R&D Integration forums.
- Lead continuous improvement in BTS M&A services/capabilities; identify and implement AI innovations to increase speed, efficiency, and value.
- Ensure compliance with BTS SLC and corporate/divisional policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelorโ€™s in Business/Computer Science/related + 7 years; Masterโ€™s + 6 years; PhD + 2 years.
- Experience leading portfolios of business applications and large, complex cross-functional global IT implementations with strong financial management.
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and collaboration.
- Skilled in generative/agentic AI to improve processes/capabilities; led projects delivering speed/efficiencies/cost savings.
- Experience with R&D business applications (e.g., Veeva, LIMS, ELN, CTMS, scientific data management, lab systems, research portfolio tools, document management).
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, financial management, business systems applications, and global program delivery.

Preferred:
- 6+ years (business applications portfolio + global IT implementations + financial management).
- 6+ years (M&A, divestitures, collaboration).
