LSS Software Engineering Co-op - Madison, WI

Role: Software Engineering Co-op focusing on developing and maintaining software for life-support medical devices, including embedded systems and test tools. Responsibilities: contribute to real-time and non-real-time software applications using C++, support embedded software on hardware platforms, design and maintain test tools, participate in design, testing, debugging, and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Requirements: pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, with graduation expected December 2027 or later; GPA ≥3.0; programming experience in C++, Python, or C#; strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams; minimum 28-week availability; willing to relocate to Madison, WI. Preferred skills: prior internships or projects in software engineering, experience with embedded software, debugging hardware, familiarity with development tools, demonstrated leadership and teamwork.
