As an LTC Sales Specialist, youโll own a defined LTC territory and expand business by identifying opportunities and delivering solutions for facilities and care teams.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with LTC resident care teams (physicians, NP/PA, consultant/dispersing pharmacists, nursing facility leadership/staff).
- Promote Acadia products with compliant clinical, disease-state, and reimbursement education.
- Use advanced selling skills to address questions, concerns, and objections.
- Use customer/practice/market knowledge to inform business planning.
- Create and execute quarterly territory business/action plans using data to maximize reach and impact.
- Advise on pricing, reimbursement, and LTC profitability; liaise for access-related questions.
- Collaborate with sales management and cross-functional partners.
- Represent the company at conferences/product launches/training and contribute to initiatives.
- Mentor/train junior Sales Specialists.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and LTC regulations.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Neuroscience, LTC market dynamics, payer systems (Part A/Part D), specialty distribution, and LTC regulations.
- Microsoft Office and virtual platforms (Zoom/WebEx).
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree required; life sciences preferred.
- Sales Specialist: 1โ2 years healthcare/pharma sales (neuroscience preferred).
- Senior: 5+ years healthcare sales (2+ in complex/account-based).
- Executive: 12+ years healthcare sales (3+ in complex/account-based).
- Advanced selling/negotiation; leadership/mentorship; business acumen.
- Reside in territory (or within 30 miles); valid driverโs license; up to 80% travel.
Compensation/Benefits (explicit):
- Salary range: $92,000โ$115,000 USD; eligible for discretionary bonus and equity.
