Primary Responsibilities:
- Own a defined LTC territory and expand business by identifying opportunities and delivering solutions for facilities and care teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with LTC resident care teams (physicians, NP/PA, consultant pharmacists, dispensing pharmacists, and nursing facility leadership/staff).
- Promote Acadia products with compliant clinical, disease-state, and reimbursement education tailored to customer needs.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and objections using advanced selling skills.
- Use knowledge of customers, practices, and local/regional market trends to guide business planning.
- Create and execute quarterly territory business/action plans using data to maximize reach and impact within budget.
- Provide guidance on pricing/reimbursement and LTC profitability parameters; liaison for access-related questions.
- Collaborate with sales management and cross-functional partners to address business needs.
- Represent the company at conferences, exhibits, product launches, and training sessions.
- Mentor/train new or junior Sales Specialists; share field insights.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and LTC regulations affecting medication use and resident care.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences preferred.
- Sales Specialist: 1–2 years pharmaceutical/healthcare sales (neuroscience preferred).
- Sr. Sales Specialist: 5+ years healthcare sales (2+ in complex/account-based selling).
- Executive Sales Specialist: 12+ years healthcare sales (3+ in complex/account-based selling).
- Advanced selling/negotiation skills; ability to influence diverse HCP audiences.
- Leadership/mentorship at regional level.
- Strong business acumen, organization, and self-motivation.
- Must reside within territory (or within 30 miles) and, if required, near a major airport.
- Valid driver’s license; drive daily and travel independently by air; travel up to 80% (overnights; occasional after-hours).
- Must meet vaccination and facility access requirements.

Knowledge & Skills:
- In-depth neuroscience, LTC market dynamics, payer systems (Part A/Part D), specialty distribution, and applicable LTC regulations.
- Microsoft Office and virtual engagement platforms (e.g., Zoom, WebEx).
