About The Role
- Responsible for a specific geographic territory; promote and grow Neurocrine products.
- Manage and develop long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts; represent Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications.
- Educate external customers (e.g., physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers) on product benefits.
Your Contributions
Responsibilities
- Drive product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management.
- Execute territory sales strategies (in-person and virtual) to meet/exceed objectives.
- Identify and address territory opportunities and barriers to product success.
- Manage promotional resources and budget.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build/maintain relationships with: psychiatrists, neurologists, NPs, PAs; RNs, LPNs, PharmDs; key opinion leaders/advocacy groups; community mental health clinics and long-term care; local/regional payers and pharmacies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications.
Professional Standards
- Uphold highest ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and industry best practices; model compliance with company values.
Work Expectations
- Maintain full field presence MonโFri; flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS/BA in science (or related) + minimum 4 years commercial pharma/biotech experience (3+ years specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales desired). Close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred; psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred.
- OR Masterโs degree in science (or related) + 2+ years similar experience.
- Knowledge of best practices; strong healthcare regulatory/enforcement understanding.
- Proven sales success in complex environments; track record meeting/exceeding objectives.
- Leadership/teamwork in cross-functional settings.
- Proficiency with business systems/salesforce automation and business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva).
- Excellent verbal/written communication; ability to navigate complex accounts; understanding specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
- Should reside within assigned territory; valid driverโs license and clean driving record.

Note
- Annual base salary expected range: $123,100โ$168,000; eligible for quarterly incentive and equity long-term incentive.
