Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments to support timely clinical trial operations.
- Manage receiving, shipping, reverse logistics, and inventory activities with high accuracy.
- Prepare and verify shipping, customs, and compliance documentation for regulated materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish logistics and shipping supplies as needed.
- Troubleshoot shipment issues, delivery delays, and inventory discrepancies.
- Track logistics metrics and identify improvements in efficiency, quality, and service levels.
- Collaborate with clinical sites, couriers, customs brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support quality event investigations, corrective actions, and adherence to approved procedures and safety requirements.
Essential Requirements / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required (Associate’s/Bachelor’s in related field preferred).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in clinical trial logistics or related pharma/biotech/R&D/clinical trial industry.
- Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory management/warehousing, including human biological samples (IATA, DOT, CDC, etc.).
- Knowledge of IATA, DOT, FDA, and USDA requirements.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication/customer service skills; collaborate across stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and partner effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with international import/export and customs documentation; shipping biological samples internationally.
- Experience supporting global clinical trial logistics.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $57,800–$107,300/year; performance-based cash incentive; potential annual equity.
