Role Summary
Logistics Associate responsible for manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering materials within a cGMP warehouse. Day shift hours (2:00pm-10:30pm) required. Location: Upper Merrion, PA.
Responsibilities
- Operates material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) to move stock or organize materials
- Operates box truck to move stock between buildings
- Utilizes computerized or automated systems to accomplish tasks
- Performs receipt and quarantine of incoming cGMP raw materials in SAP per cGMP and safety requirements
- Stages raw materials for sampling and inspection and inputs into sample tracking system
- Assists with shipping of bulk drug product per cGMP procedures to ensure quality, integrity and on-time delivery
- Delivers parcels to site personnel and follows DOT requirements for transport of materials
- Ensures inventory levels remain accurate in SAP and performs periodic inventory checks
- Delivers materials to production in a timely manner and with good quality practices
- Performs bulk drug freeze-down transfer procedures using controlled rate freezing equipment
- Participates in cycle counts of warehouse materials
Qualifications
- Required: HS Diploma or GED
- Required: Warehouse and material handling experience
- Required: Forklift experience
- Required: Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word)
- Preferred: SAP experience
- Preferred: Pharmaceutical industry (cGMP) experience
- Preferred: Material handling forklift training (provided if not possessed)
- Preferred: Physical ability to stoop, stand, climb and frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Preferred: Ability to work shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime
- Preferred: Good reading, writing and communication skills
