Field-based role; candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and execute AbbVie programs to support treatment delivery for infused therapy offerings in Gastroenterology.
- Prospect and establish B2B relationships with local sites of care (SOC) and develop/execute account or partner business plans to meet agreed objectives.
- Execute defined MBOs.
- Provide overview of therapy and clinical procedures involved with infusion; coordinate with Medical Affairs as needed.
- Identify gaps in SOC networks and develop plans to expand SOC options.
- Pull through national partnership contracts locally; develop business cases and manage contracts for optimal results (if applicable).
- Deliver proactive access-related education (including coding and billing) and conduct quarterly business reviews with SOC administrative leaders.
- Serve as lead point of contact with sales, patient services, and reimbursement access for assigned SOC customers/partners.
- Evaluate, develop, monitor, and measure partnerships/business plans aligned to objectives (profit, growth, value).
- Develop and grow relationships within accounts and deliver business presentations/reviews.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years pharma/medical industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years market access/SOC segments and reimbursement experience (commercial and government payers; billing/coding) with infused products.
- Direct experience activating SOCs across infusion provider sites and/or buy-and-bill physician office practices.
- Strong healthcare regulatory understanding and integrity; attention to detail; excellent planning/organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with appropriate supervisory input; cross-functionally; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Valid driverβs license; pass pre-employment drug screening; may drive personal/company vehicle or equipment.
