Role Summary
Local Gastroenterology Account Manager - Site of Care (SOC) role supporting infusion therapy delivery within the Gastroenterology business units. Responsible for prospecting local SOCs, developing and executing account/partner business plans, and maximizing pull-through through coordinated business planning. Field-based role covering Pennsylvania and New Jersey; travel 70-75%.
Responsibilities
- Maximize site of care (SOC) opportunities in accordance with product labeling, strategic imperatives, and Company policies.
- Execute against defined MBOs for the SOC role.
- Provide overview of therapy and infusion procedures to assigned SOC customers/partners; coordinate with Medical Affairs as necessary.
- Identify gaps in SOC networks and develop plans to expand SOC options.
- Pull through national partnership contracts at the local level; develop business case to support contracts and manage to ensure optimal results.
- Provide ongoing access-related education including coding and billing; conduct quarterly business reviews with SOC administrative leaders.
- Serve as the lead contact with sales, patient services, and reimbursement access functions for SOC customers/partners.
- Evaluate, develop, monitor, and measure partnerships/business plans within designated accounts to align with defined objectives (profit, growth, value).
- Develop and grow relationships within accounts to meet business needs through collaborative approaches while delivering results.
- Develop and deliver business presentations/reviews to customers/partners based on mutual needs/benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years pharma/medical industry experience.
- Minimum of 2 yearsβ experience with market access/site of care customer segments and reimbursement (commercial and government payers, billing/coding) with infused products.
Skills
- Direct experience identifying and activating sites of care in infusion service areas (national/regional infusion providers, individual buy-and-bill physician office practices).
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment and know when supervisory input is needed.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments and demonstrated integrity.
- Fosters innovative account approaches and practices.
- Attention to detail with ability to interpret policies and regulations.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills in dynamic, deadline-driven environments.

Education

- Valid driverβs license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Travel: 70-75% of the time.
