Role Summary

Lead, US Logistics Network Performance and Business Excellence based in Lexington, MA. Responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain processes, developing strategies to improve logistics, production planning, and inventory management to support business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead D&L Performance Initiatives driving performance improvements in collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage local D&L metrics, target settings, scorecards, and KPI dashboards.
  • Conduct performance reviews with secondary distribution 3PLs and LSPs.
  • Oversee continuous improvement dialogues with internal stakeholders and provide guidance as needed.
  • Lead US CSLe reporting and process optimization; manage overall US domestic distribution network performance.
  • Support governance of D&L projects portfolio, training programs, process documentation, and communications.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Gather business requirements for data and digital tools; utilize digital solutions for the local market.
  • Lead and coordinate a squad of US DDL members; make autonomous decisions; organize tasks; monitor performance; mentor squad members.
  • Engage in cross-functional interactions to align on metrics, operations, procurement, and supplier standards.
  • Contribute to BI, data management, and visibility initiatives to drive process excellence in logistics and transport services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in Distribution and Logistics management or Operations.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business administration, engineering, finance, supply chain management or similar, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders across levels and countries.
  • Strong business acumen and financial analytics skills; ability to analyze diverse supply chain data.
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and confidently; capacity to manage ambiguity and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong portfolio management skills (PMI certification a plus).
  • Very good knowledge of supply chain systems (SAP MM/SD/FI, BI tools, etc.).

Skills

  • Logistics and distribution processes expertise, especially in pharmaceutical industry.
  • End-to-end supply chain understanding; manufacturing units/OpUs and commercial processes.
  • GDP/policy awareness; governance and reporting capabilities; data analysis and BI tooling.
  • Stakeholder management across local and regional levels; cross-functional collaboration.

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
