Role: Serve as the day-to-day technical leader for Takeda's AI-Native Endpoint Generation platform within R&D, translating scientific and business goals into an executable technical roadmap. Responsibilities: manage the product backlog, oversee architecture, coordinate with engineering, data science, and ML teams, ensure integration with labs and scientific workflows, and support automation and AI capabilities development. Collaborate closely with the Business Lead as a joint leadership pair, providing direction to cross-disciplinary squads, managing technical risks, dependencies, and external partners, and maintaining architectural coherence across the Labs of Tomorrow portal. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's in a scientific or technical field (e.g., biology, pharmacology, computer science), 8+ years in software product management, technical program management, or engineering leadership, preferably within biopharma R&D. Demonstrated experience with scientific discovery workflows, laboratory automation, cloud platforms, AI/ML systems, and translating ambiguous scientific needs into technical specifications. Strong stakeholder management, Agile/Scrum expertise, and a hands-on technical background are essential. Preferred: experience with scientific software platforms (ELN/LIMS, assay data, HTE, automated synthesis), cheminformatics, AI/ML discovery tools, and laboratory automation. The role is based in Boston, MA, full-time, with a compensation range of $177K-$278K, focusing on enabling AI-driven scientific workflows in drug discovery.
