Role: Technical Product Owner for AI-native small molecule discovery within Takeda's Labs of Tomorrow program, leading technical delivery and architecture for discovery software products. Responsibilities: manage backlog, develop technical roadmaps, translate scientific/business goals into executable plans, oversee integration with lab workflows and other platforms, and partner closely with the Business Lead in a joint leadership model. Ensure solutions are scalable, scientifically valid, and aligned with AI-enabled workflows; manage technical risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication; collaborate with external tech partners. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, or related fields; 8+ years in software product ownership or engineering within pharma/biotech R&D; knowledge of medicinal chemistry workflows, AI/ML systems, cloud/data platforms; experience translating scientific needs into technical specs; stakeholder management skills. Preferred: experience with scientific data standards, cheminformatics tools, AI-driven discovery applications, and laboratory automation platforms; certifications like CSPO or SAFe POPM.
