Lead Finance Software Engineer

Your Role: Lead Software Engineer – Finance

Responsibilities:
- Develop and support full-stack, scalable digital products for Finance, embedding security and quality assurance across the product lifecycle.
- Oversee engineering efforts on key Finance initiatives: partner with the Product Owner to define the product backlog, design technical approaches, and align with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering to shape their products, enhance developer experience, and identify reusable enterprise components.
- Coach and upskill engineers; share best practices and foster collaboration in the Engineering community.
- Promote innovation using modern approaches (e.g., rapid prototyping) and engage via hackathons/partner formats to explore new technologies.

Qualifications (minimum):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (or related field).
- 5+ years hands-on software engineering, including:
- Modern application architecture (SOA, API-Centric Design, Twelve-Factor App).
- DevSecOps/product mindset delivery (CI/CD, TDD).
- Cloud-native patterns (Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud) and deployment (Kubernetes).
- API ecosystems and web tech (TypeScript/JavaScript, Node, Next.js/React).
- Large-scale digital solutions in complex environments.

Preferred:
- Enterprise Procurement process experience.
- SAP ecosystem (SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP) and integration tools (OneStream, SAP BPC, Signavio).
- AI/agentic workflow integration.
- Python (or similar).
- Databricks or Power BI.
