Lead Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

Role: Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for United Therapeutics, supporting strategic decision-making through financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting. Responsibilities: develop and improve forecasts for product revenue, inventory, and long-term strategies; partner cross-functionally with commercial, manufacturing, and accounting teams for integrated financial assumptions; provide analysis, variance reports, and dashboards; support budget development and process improvements; monitor key metrics and identify risks/opportunities. Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; 8+ years in finance or accounting, with experience in large organizations, preferably in life sciences/pharma; proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel; strong analytical skills, communication, and organizational abilities; ability to manage ambiguity and work independently. Preferred: Master’s degree in related field. High-Value: experience with financial modeling, scenario analysis, operational metrics, and regulatory or commercial insights within biopharma; familiarity with pharma industry operations and life sciences financial practices. WorkSetup: hybrid in RTP, NC; at least three days per week onsite, with potential for increased in-office requirements.
