Lab Support Specialist

Role: Lab Support Specialist supporting laboratory IT and R&D systems within a biopharma setting, ensuring stability, security, and compliance of lab computing environments. Responsibilities: manage onboarding, configuration, and qualification of laboratory instrument systems; support existing lab computing devices and scientific applications; collaborate with scientists, vendors, and IT teams on system implementation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and documentation; assist in GxP compliance activities including risk assessments and qualification protocols; maintain incident records and update knowledge bases. Requirements: BS degree with 2+ years in biotech or pharma, preferably in cell therapy; knowledge of GxP software, Windows OS, laboratory systems, and validation processes; experience supporting computerized lab systems, strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills; familiarity with ticketing systems and SDLC.
