Lab Assistant

Role: Laboratory specimen processing technician supporting clinical diagnostics in a high-volume lab setting. Responsibilities include receiving, sorting, preparing, and data entry of lab specimens; maintaining lab equipment; troubleshooting issues; replenishing supplies; and ensuring safety and quality standards. Requirements: High school diploma or GED; preferred 3+ months specimen processing or laboratory experience; comfortable handling biological specimens; basic computer skills; strong attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; pass color blindness test; flexibility for overtime or shift changes. High-Value: clinical laboratory, specimen processing, data entry, safety compliance. Work setup: onsite in Burlington, NC; schedule Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.
