Lab Assistant

Role: Lab Assistant supporting specimen processing and lab operations in RTP, NC. Responsibilities: receive, sort, prepare, and document clinical lab specimens; perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues; ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with SOPs; manage administrative record-keeping. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; preferably 3+ months of specimen processing or lab experience; comfort with biological specimens, basic computer skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team; physically capable and pass color blindness test. HighValue: clinical laboratory setting, specimen processing, fast-paced environment, shift work (Tuesday-Saturday, 12:00pm-8:30pm), requires flexibility for overtime and additional shifts.
