General Summary:
The Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with HCPs, develops a strategic business plan, and communicates disease/product knowledge to HCPs and centers of care. Reports to a Regional Field Leader (RFL) and leads engagement with nephrologists and specialty kidney clinics.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; serve as territory account manager for specialty kidney clinics
- Develop/maintain expertise on disease, product clinical attributes, and patient unmet needs to educate appropriate patient use
- Understand assigned physicians, territory/market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, decision-maker relationships, patient protocols, referral networks, access, and drivers/barriers
- Own territory-level performance; contribute to area/national team performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally; attend meetings and take on assigned projects
- Exercise sound judgment and adhere to regulatory/compliance guidelines and company policies

Knowledge & Skills (Required/Preferred):
- Communicate complex clinical disease/product; strong interpersonal and written/verbal skills
- Initiative, strong work ethic, customer orientation, passion for improving patient care
- Cross-functional/team-based skills; continuous learning
- Clinical acumen, selling, business acumen, customer relationships
- Expertise in disease, clinical/HCP resources, sales competencies, centers of care, payer landscape, relationship building/account management, business integrity/ethics
- Documented sales success; IT competence (e.g., Veeva CRM); experience in highly matrixed environments

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Typically 5 years pharmaceutical field sales; experience in kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar biotech/specialty markets
- Product launch experience highly desired

Requirements:
- Complete required trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations
- Live and work within the territory (may need to be near a major airport)
- Valid driver’s license; travel up to 80%; after-hours work as needed; 10–30% overnight travel

Pay Range:
- $133,600–$200,400; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
