General Summary:
The Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with HCPs, develops a strategic business plan, and communicates disease and product knowledge to HCPs and centers of care to improve patients’ lives.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; serve as territory account manager for specialty kidney clinics
- Maintain expertise on disease, product clinical attributes, and patient unmet needs; educate on appropriate patient use
- Understand physicians and territory/market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, decision-maker relationships, patient protocols, referral navigation, access, and barriers
- Drive territory performance; contribute to area/national team performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve goals
- Attend meetings; take on projects/duties as requested
- Exercise sound judgment and follow regulatory/compliance guidelines and company policies

Knowledge/Skills:
- Communicate complex clinical disease/product
- Strong interpersonal + verbal/written communication
- Initiative, strong work ethic; customer orientation; passion for patient care
- Team-based, cross-functional work; continuous learning
- Clinical acumen, selling skills, business acumen, customer relationships; knowledge of HCP/patient resources, sales competencies, centers of care and payer landscape, relationship building/account management
- Documented sales success; IT competence (incl. Veeva CRM); experience in highly matrixed environments

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Typically 5 years pharmaceutical field sales; experience in kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar specialty markets; product launch experience desired

Requirements:
- Live/work within territory (may require proximity to major airport)
- Valid driver’s license
- Travel by car/air up to 80%; work after hours; 10–30% overnight travel
- Complete required trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations as applicable

Pay/Benefits:
- $133,600–$200,400; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards
