General Summary
- The Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM) establishes/maintains relationships with HCPs, develops a strategic business plan, and communicates disease/product knowledge to HCPs and centers of care. Leads engagement with nephrologists and serves as an account manager for specialty kidney clinics.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Build meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; manage specialty kidney clinic accounts.
- Develop expertise on disease, product clinical attributes, and patient unmet needs to educate appropriate patient use.
- Understand physician/territory/market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, decision-maker relationships, patient protocols, referral networks, access, and drivers/barriers.
- Drive territory performance; contribute to area/national team goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; attend meetings; take on projects as requested.
- Exercise sound judgment and adhere to regulatory/compliance guidelines and company policies.

Knowledge, Skills & Requirements
- Ability to communicate complex clinical disease/product; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
- Initiative, strong work ethic, passion for improving patient care; customer orientation.
- Cross-functional/team skills; continuous learning.
- Clinical acumen, selling, business acumen, customer relationships.
- Expertise in HCP/patient resources; sales competencies; disease centers of care and payer landscape; relationship/account management.
- Documented sales success; IT proficiency (e.g., Veeva CRM); experience in matrixed environments.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Typically 5 years pharmaceutical field sales; experience in kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar biotech/specialty markets.
- Product launch experience highly desired.

Work/Compliance Requirements
- Complete required trainings; background screens; drug testing and vaccinations.
- Live and work within territory (may require proximity to major airport).
- Valid driver’s license; travel up to 80% (car/air); work after hours; 10–30% overnight travel.

Pay & Benefits (as stated)
- Pay range: $133,600–$200,400; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
