General Summary
The Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with HCPs, develops a strategic business plan, and communicates disease and product knowledge to HCPs and centers of care. Reports into a Regional Field Leader (RFL) and leads engagement with nephrologists; serves as account manager for specialty kidney clinics.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish professional relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; manage specialty kidney clinic accounts.
- Build expertise in disease, product clinical attributes, and patient unmet needs; educate HCPs on appropriate product use.
- Understand physician, territory/market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, patient protocols, referral networks, access, and drivers/barriers.
- Drive territory performance and contribute to area/national goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; attend meetings; take on projects as requested.
- Exercise sound judgment; follow regulatory/compliance and company policies.
Education & Experience
- Bachelorβs degree.
- Typically 5+ years pharmaceutical field sales; experience in kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar biotech/specialty markets.
- Product launch experience highly desired.
Requirements
- Complete required trainings/background/drug testing/vaccinations.
- Live/work in territory; valid driverβs license.
- Up to 80% travel; work after hours as needed; 10β30% overnight travel.
Pay & Benefits
- Pay range: $133,600β$200,400; eligible for annual bonus and equity.
