General Summary:
The Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs), develops a strategic business plan, and communicates disease and product knowledge to HCPs and centers of care. Leads engagement with nephrologists and serves as an account manager for specialty kidney clinics.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Establish meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; serve as territory account manager for specialty kidney clinics.
- Develop expertise in disease, product clinical attributes, and patient unmet needs; educate HCPs on appropriate patient use.
- Understand assigned physicians and territory/market dynamics (stakeholder mapping, decision-maker relationship management, patient protocols, referral navigation, access, drivers/barriers).
- Manage individual territory performance and contribute to area/national goals.
- Collaborate across functions; attend meetings; take on projects as requested.
- Exercise sound judgment and adhere to regulatory/compliance and company policies.

Knowledge, Skills, And Qualifications:
- Ability to understand and communicate complex clinical disease/product.
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication; customer orientation; initiative/work ethic.
- Cross-functional teamwork; continuous learning; business integrity/ethics.
- Core competencies: Clinical Acumen, Selling Skills, Business Acumen, Customer Relationships.
- Expertise with disease centers of care, payer landscape, HCP/patient resources, and relationship/account management.
- Documented sales success; strong IT capabilities (e.g., Veeva CRM); experience in matrixed environments.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Typically 5 years pharmaceutical field sales experience; experience in kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar specialty/biotech markets; product launch experience highly desired.

Requirements:
- Live and work within the territory (may require proximity to major airport).
- Valid driver’s license; travel up to 80% by car/air; work after hours as needed; 10–30% overnight travel.
- Must complete required trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations.

Pay Range:
- $133,600 - $200,400; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
