General Summary:
The Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs), develops a strategic business plan, and communicates disease and product knowledge to HCPs and centers of care to improve patients’ lives. Reports to a Regional Field Leader (RFL), leads engagement with nephrologists, and serves as an account manager for specialty kidney clinics.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; manage specialty kidney clinic accounts.
- Maintain expertise on disease, product clinical attributes, and patient unmet needs to educate appropriate patients.
- Understand physicians, territory/market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, decision-maker relationships, patient protocols, referral networks, access, and barriers/drivers.
- Deliver individual territory performance and contribute to area/national goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; attend meetings and take on projects as requested.
- Use sound judgment and follow regulatory/compliance guidelines and company policies.

- Communicate complex clinical disease/product; strong verbal/written skills.
- Initiative, strong work ethic; customer orientation; team/cross-functional skills.
- Continuous learning; core competencies in Clinical Acumen, Selling, Business Acumen, and Customer Relationships.
- Expert in disease/clinical knowledge, HCP/patient resources, sales competencies, centers of care and payer landscape, relationship/account management.
- Business integrity/ethical conduct; documented sales success.
- IT capability (e.g., Veeva CRM); experience in a matrixed environment.

Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Typically 5 years field sales in pharma with kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar specialty markets; product launch experience desired.
- Complete required customer credentials/training, background screens, drug testing, and vaccinations.

Requirements:
- Live and work within territory (may require proximity to major airport).
- Valid driver’s license; travel/car or airplane up to 80% (10–30% overnight); work after hours as needed.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Pay range: $133,600–$200,400. Eligible for annual bonus and annual equity; also includes medical/dental/vision, paid time off (summer/winter shutdown), education assistance (student loan repayment), commuting subsidy, matching charitable donations, and 401(k).
