General Summary:
The Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM) establishes/maintains relationships with HCPs, develops strategic business plans, and communicates disease and product knowledge to HCPs and centers of care. Reports to a Regional Field Leader (RFL) and leads engagement with nephrologists and serves as an account manager for specialty kidney clinics.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; manage territory specialty kidney clinic accounts.
- Develop expertise in disease/product clinical attributes and patient unmet needs to educate appropriate patients.
- Understand assigned physicians, territory/market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, decision-makers, patient protocols, referrals, access, and drivers/barriers.
- Drive individual territory performance and contribute to area/national team goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; attend meetings and take on assigned projects.
- Exercise sound judgment and follow regulatory/compliance guidelines and company policies.

Knowledge and Skills (required/preferred):
- Ability to understand/communicate complex clinical disease/product.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication.
- Initiative, strong work ethic, passion for patient care, customer orientation.
- Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration; continuous learning.
- Core competencies: Clinical Acumen, Selling Skills, Business Acumen, Customer Relationships.
- IT proficiency (including Veeva CRM); experience in matrixed environments.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Typically 5 years pharmaceutical field sales; experience in kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar specialty markets (product launch experience highly desired).

Territory/Other Requirements:
- Live/work within the territory (may require proximity to major airport).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Travel up to 80% (10–30% overnight typically) and work after hours as needed.
- Complete required trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations.

Compensation:
- Pay range: $133,600–$200,400. Eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards; some roles may be eligible for overtime.
