The Position
Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead enterprise engagement across priority health systems, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and complex accounts within an assigned geography; drive institutional access and adoption of Arrowheadβs cardiometabolic portfolio (including Plozasiran for FCS).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies across priority IDNs/health systems/complex accounts.
- Build institutional access via formulary engagement, protocol development, and clinical pathway integration.
- Integrate Plozasiran into treatment algorithms, order sets, and clinical workflows with institutional decision-makers.
- Own multi-year account growth plans; use adoption/access/performance data to segment and prioritize accounts.
- Monitor adoption metrics and address access barriers to accelerate pull-through; conduct regular business reviews and maintain stakeholder maps.
- Build relationships with pharmacy leadership, population health leaders, value analysis committees, and clinical champions.
- Engage compliantly in value-based discussions (HEOR, outcomes, RWE) and navigate approval processes.
- Develop clinical fluency in FCS/ApoC-III biology and Plozasiran evidence; educate stakeholders on diagnosis and patient identification.
- Collaborate with Health IT; serve as a clinical and commercial resource.
- Partner with Rare Disease Specialists and Regional Sales Directors; collaborate with Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Ops.
- Provide competitive/access insights and participate in planning meetings and launches.
- Own account targets/adoption objectives; maintain forecast accuracy; ensure disciplined CRM documentation and reporting.
- Conduct engagements in compliance with applicable laws/regulations and ethical standards.
- Travel ~60%.
Experience/Qualifications (Required)
- 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
- Experience in IDN, health system, or complex account management.
- Ability to navigate and influence formulary/protocol/pathway decisions; track record of consistent performance and territory growth.
Experience (Preferred)
- Specialty, rare disease, or cardiometabolic therapeutic area experience.
Skills/Competencies

- Understanding of health system economics, reimbursement, and access pathways.
- Ability to translate complex clinical/HEOR data into value narratives; strong analytical, data-driven judgment.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary $190,000β$210,000 plus incentive compensation; RSUs eligibility; car allowance.
