IT Systems & Cloud Administrator

Responsibilities
- Manage and secure hybrid infrastructure (on-prem and Azure/AWS).
- Administer cloud services (Entra ID/IAM, compute, storage, networking, security controls).
- Maintain servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and network infrastructure.
- Deploy, monitor, and support AI/ML-related infrastructure and cloud AI services (e.g., Azure AI, AWS AI/ML).
- Monitor system performance/availability/security; perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Implement and maintain backups and disaster recovery across on-prem and cloud.
- Enforce security policies; conduct vulnerability assessments; respond to security events.
- Manage access controls, identity systems, and compliance configurations.
- Recommend and implement improvements for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency; support migrations/upgrades.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software/network/cloud issues; provide Tier 2/3 support and support Help Desk escalations.
- Support Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications; develop documentation/SOPs/architecture diagrams.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s in Information Systems/Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5+ years systems administration in hybrid environments.
- Windows Server expertise (AD, DNS, DHCP).
- Azure hands-on: Entra ID, VMs, Azure Virtual Desktop, security/compliance tools.
- AWS hands-on: IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, CloudWatch.
- Hybrid identity/access experience; virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication; independent/team collaboration.
- Plus: Splunk monitoring/logging, Linux admin, AI/ML infrastructure (Azure AI Services/AWS SageMaker), relevant certs.

Compensation/Benefits
- Salary: National $100,000–$120,000; SFBA/NYC/Boston $110,000–$135,000.
