Program Manager – Digital Commerce Ecosystem

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end commerce and ordering program, including punchout, direct eCommerce, and distributor order channels.
- Enrich product data and improve content delivery mechanisms for consistency and scalability.
- Define and drive a multi-year roadmap aligned to growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with executives and stakeholders (Channel Management, Sales, Marketing, IT Leadership) to prioritize initiatives using value, risk, and customer impact.
- Collaborate with Channel Management to ensure eMarketplaces/partner platform execution aligns with channel intent and buying behaviors.
- Establish program governance, reporting, and communication cadence.
- Improve distributor ordering (bulk uploads, integrations, automation) and resolve friction across the Find, Decide, Buy journey.
- Ensure accurate, complete, optimized product data across commerce channels.
- Support content syndication, punchout enablement, and customer-specific purchasing flows.
- Coordinate integrations with IT/ERP/vendors across eCommerce (e.g., Drupal Commerce), ERP (e.g., D365, AX), and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
- Translate business needs into technical requirements; design for performance, reliability, and global scalability.
- Lead cross-functional delivery (IT, Channel Mgmt, Marketing, CX, Finance, Sales); manage milestones, risks, dependencies, and release planning.
- Oversee testing/validation and launch readiness; ensure change management and stakeholder alignment.
- Define and track metrics; use data/customer insights to optimize and identify automation/efficiency opportunities.

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma/certification/equivalent with 10+ years relevant experience; or Associate degree with 8-10 years; or Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years.
- Proven experience managing B2B commerce ecosystems (punchout and distributor channels).
- Strong knowledge of order management workflows, pricing, and customer-specific commerce.
- Experience with enterprise systems/integrations (ERP, CRM, eCommerce).
- Ability to lead cross-functional programs in complex environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred
- Life sciences/biotech/regulatory industry experience.
- Familiarity with Drupal Commerce, Salesforce, D365/AX (or similar).
- Global commerce experience (VAT, multi-entity, regional differences).
- Experience with search and catalog/product data management in a scientific product context.
