Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patent and scientific literature searches to support critical intellectual property and business decisions.
- Develop innovative search strategies using advanced research methodologies and specialized patent databases.
- Deliver actionable patent analytics supporting due diligence, litigation, and freedom-to-operate assessments.
- Partner with patent attorneys, scientists, and business teams to define objectives and deliver insights.
- Translate complex technical information into clear recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
- Maintain high-quality documentation, search records, and confidentiality standards across all projects.
- Share best practices and monitor industry developments to strengthen organizational expertise.
Essential Requirements
- Masterβs degree (or PhD) in Biology or Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience in patent searching, intellectual property research, technical research, or patent analytics.
- Proficiency using patent and scientific literature databases and advanced search platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively within a global environment.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related life sciences industries (plus).
