Role: Support IP strategy development for small molecule drug discovery through invention harvesting, patent drafting, and prior art analysis. Responsibilities: collaborate with research teams to identify patentable inventions, assist in preparing patent applications, review patent documents for accuracy, conduct patent and literature searches, monitor competitive IP activities, and support AI-enabled data workflows. Requirements: B.S. in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry, 1-2 years of experience in biotech/pharma, strong knowledge of small molecule chemistry, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with ChemDraw and MS Office. Preferred: M.S./Ph.D., experience in patent disclosures, familiarity with U.S. and international patent systems, patent databases (SciFinder, USPTO, WIPO, Espacenet), chemical structure searching, and eligibility for USPTO Patent Bar.
