Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the site MES master plan.
- Provide leadership and development of the MES and DHS team.
- Develop and manage the site MES resource plan; allocate resources and lead MES recruitment.
- Perform routine checks and monitor MES/DHS to support production schedules.
- Lead/support interface management for MES and equipment integration.
- Lead oversight for configuration of MES, Data Historian, and Kepware.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Optimize production processes through MES implementations.
- Verify data completeness, accuracy, and compliance within MES/DHS.
- Troubleshoot system issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain documentation/records in accordance with compliance standards.
- Participate in global networks and initiatives; contribute lessons learned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, or related), Biotechnology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years progressive experience in manufacturing, automation, MES implementation, or manufacturing systems engineering in a regulated GxP environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years leadership/supervisory experience.
- Experience leading MES strategy/roadmap and cross-functional delivery.
- CSV and regulatory compliance experience (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GAMP 5).
- Certifications (MES platforms such as Siemens/Rockwell/Emerson DeltaV, PMP, SAP, Industry 4.0/Smart Manufacturing).
- 10–12+ years pharmaceutical manufacturing automation; global/multi-site experience.
- Direct experience with Sanofi MES/data historian platforms; track record in digital transformation/Industry 4.0.
- OT/IT cybersecurity framework experience.
