Role: Key Account Manager (KAM) serving as a strategic liaison between Takeda and prioritized health system accounts across MN, NE, IA, MT, ND, SD, focused on developing and executing business plans to support Takeda's PDT portfolio. Responsibilities: manage health system contracting, develop cross-functional business strategies, achieve sales and prescriber growth targets, and facilitate formulary and protocol access for specialty products. Regularly evaluate account performance, monitor reimbursement and access trends, and deliver quarterly business reviews. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, including health system executives and clinical leaders, to maximize account engagement and product integration. Requirements: BA/BS, 10+ years of healthcare sales experience including 2+ years in account management, extensive knowledge of managed care, payer access, and complex reimbursement issues; proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans; strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Preferred: specialty sales training, biological product launch experience, experience with health system C and D suite accounts, and familiarity with buy & bill models. High-value: focus on hospital health system accounts, extensive travel (~75%), and a primary location in Minnesota with a virtual work setup.
