Essential Accountabilities:
- Build rapport quickly; thrive in a digital environment using MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, and Salesforce.
- Primary point of contact for assigned customers; connect with key decision makers to understand practice structure, business model, key influencers, customer needs, and identify business opportunities.
- Develop customer and territory strategies/relationship plans to drive Animal Health sales growth.
- Create territory and account plans for key customers; partner with National Account Managers, Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Partners.
- Collaborate across species teams to enhance knowledge of the Animal Health portfolio; share learnings regionally.
- Analyze monthly sales results; manage expenses within budget.
- Identify and select education/training programs/services to address customer needs.
- Work with leadership and Professional Services to develop/deliver relevant offerings.
- Maintain understanding of Animal Health products, industry trends, and competitor landscape; leverage omni-channel demand generation tools.
- Communicate customer/industry/product/market trends appropriately; meet learning and development objectives.

Scope/Context:
- Individual contributor; remote (Eastern or Central US time zones).

Education:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required:
- 3+ years customer service/inside sales/sales or animal health industry experience.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication/presentation skills; motivation for measurable results.
- Proven selling/relationship skills; ability to manage multiple accounts.
- Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint; iPad use.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; travel for business needs.

Preferred:
- Experience selling animal health products; knowledge of animal health biological/pharmaceutical products; distribution experience.
- Multilingual (Spanish preferred).
