Role Summary

Innovative Medicine Project Delivery Operations Lead leading capital projects management within Engineering & Property Services, overseeing an annual portfolio valued at over $8B and ensuring adoption of IDEA and related processes to maximize business value.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the End-to-End capital projects management performance framework for a multi-billion portfolio.
  • Define strategic objectives for capital prioritization aligned with IM R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial needs.
  • Allocate capital across investments based on returns and risk analyses to maximize portfolio performance.
  • Establish a process excellence framework for large capital projects and digitize governance.
  • Embed End-to-End governance, monitor investments, and use metrics/analytics for portfolio health.
  • Leverage data-driven insights and market intelligence to inform future decisions and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with E&PS functions, IM partners, Finance, Procurement, HR, IT, QA, EHS, and other stakeholders to maximize value.
  • Report to senior leaders and sites/platforms with clear communication.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Business Operations organization; mentor engineering leaders and cultivate talent.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in a business and/or pharmaceutical environment (manufacturing/technical/supply chain).
  • Experience with Program, Project and Financial Management.
  • Ability to synthesize business needs, manufacturing requirements, engineering elements, and technology inputs into data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with confidentiality and integrity in a complex environment.
  • Experience in resource prioritization and capacity planning.
  • Strong analytical and collaborative skills; data analytics and performance management interest.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships in a matrix organization and lead strategic initiatives.
  • Organizational change experience; ability to translate data into actionable plans.
