Role Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture internal and external partnerships to accelerate AI integration.
- Represent IM to external collaboration partners; forge relationships with academic, biopharma, and entrepreneur stakeholders to advance AI applications to cardiometabolic drug discovery.
- Manage collaboration/partnership risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate collaboration status to senior leaders; champion the asset to secure and deploy appropriate resources (budget and FTEs).
- Support scientific teams in integrating and applying AI tools to drug discovery projects for obesity research impact.
- Facilitate access to AI expertise, resources, and best practices by connecting project teams with partners.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance, training, and troubleshooting for AI platforms and workflows.
- Adapt and deploy existing AI solutions to meet project needs, promoting data governance and reproducibility.
- Communicate project progress and resource needs to leadership to enable successful delivery.

Basic Qualifications:
- Strong experience leading drug discovery programs and/or developing and applying AI capabilities for drug discovery.
- Experience with AI/ML (or related) with a proven record applying ML/AI to drug discovery, molecular modeling, or systems biology.
- PhD + 5 years; Masters + 7 years; and/or Bachelor’s + 8 years or equivalent experience.

- Hybrid: live within commuting distance and work on-site ~2.5 days/week.
