The Position
Information Security Analyst to support the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of security controls across endpoint, identity, and Microsoft 365 environments.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and escalate issues to senior team members as needed.
- Support endpoint security and compliance within Microsoft Intune and related Microsoft security tools.
- Maintain device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and security settings.
- Test and validate security changes, policy updates, and endpoint configurations.
- Support user/device access reviews, MFA, and identity-related security tasks.
- Document procedures and troubleshooting steps in runbooks/knowledge bases.
- Investigate security issues, configuration inconsistencies, and endpoint compliance gaps with IT teams.
- Track remediation items and follow up on assigned security tasks.
- Support security awareness and continuous improvement efforts.
- Use PowerShell and/or Intune remediation scripts to automate tasks and check for configuration drift.
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Information Security/IT/Computer Science (or related) or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years in information security, system administration, help desk, or similar roles.
- Exposure to MDM/MAM policies for Windows/MacOS/iOS/Android.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Defender Portal: Sentinel, Secure Score, Cloud Apps.
- Analytical/problem-solving skills; can investigate alerts and interpret audit logs.
- Strong written/verbal communication.
- Ability to follow procedures, manage tasks, and escalate appropriately.
Preferred:
- Microsoft certifications in security/compliance.
- Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/life sciences.
- Exposure to SIEM, EDR, and/or identity and access management systems.
- Cross-functional experience (Legal, Compliance, HR, IT) handling sensitive/insider risk info appropriately.
- Exposure to Intune device configurations and MDM policies.
