Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Immunology Therapeutic Specialists.
- Build a culture of high performance, accountability, integrity, and compliance.
- Lead and execute regional business plans to achieve sales/performance objectives for the HS portfolio.
- Translate national strategy into priorities, effective call execution, strong account planning, and local market action plans.
- Provide field coaching via ride-alongs/joint calls, observation, and skill-building.
- Identify, develop, and retain top talent and future leaders.
Sales Strategy & Launch Execution
- Collaborate to execute regional launch strategies for a new HS therapy.
- Deliver launch and growth targets from pre-launch through maturity.
- Analyze regional performance data to optimize resources and drive results.
Market Access, Pull-Through & Fulfillment
- Understand payer/reimbursement/access dynamics (formularies, step edits, prior authorizations).
- Lead navigation of complex access/fulfillment processes with internal Market & Patient Access partners.
- Support customer offices on access barriers, benefits verification, PA, bridge programs, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy distribution.
- Escalate recurring access/fulfillment barriers compliantly.
- Experience with HUB services and patient support programs required.
Key Account Customer Engagement & Market Development
- Build relationships with key dermatology stakeholders and opinion leaders.
- Implement institutional and local strategies to drive launch adoption.
- Ensure compliant, data-driven clinical/value messaging.
- Coach team relationships with HS-treating customers/key accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Operations for aligned execution.
- Provide field insights to inform strategy and local action planning.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in competitive specialty markets and/or systemic injectable biologics or oral JAK with results.
- People-leadership experience coaching/developing sales talent (first-line leadership preferred).
- Cross-functional experience with Marketing, Market Access, and/or Operations.
- Ability to lead in fast-paced cross-functional environment with business acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database applications.
- Regional travel as required; valid driverโs license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred
- Dermatology and/or immunology experience; HS experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with institutional, super group, and key account dynamics.
- Experience supporting a launch and sustained post-launch growth.
