Role Summary
IM PD Asset Management Readiness Lead. Lead the site asset management function during the project phase for IM projects, overseeing design and creation of asset management processes to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable transition from project to operations and maintenance. Develop vision, strategy, operating model, and budget; collaborate across project and end-state engineering teams to deliver integrated asset management.
Responsibilities
- Build an asset management strategy for green and brown field pharmaceutical manufacturing plants and R&D labs, including organization structure, processes, technology, and data management from concept to handover.
- Develop a 5-year asset management plan with human resource, financial, and asset care components.
- Design and implement a smart condition-based and predictive maintenance philosophy; create and maintain the asset management master data register and KPIs for OPEX and CAPEX planning.
- Develop the CMMS system and implement technology solutions to improve asset management effectiveness.
- Oversee commissioning and qualification strategies, processes, systems, organizational setup, resourcing, and documentation; ensure proper handover to end-state engineering and operations teams.
- Define end-state asset management organization, including structure, budgets, policies, and procedures across utilities, manufacturing maintenance, automation, project/process engineering, and facilities management.
- Partner with System Owner for Utilities plant and Construction Quality to ensure reliable operation and compliant fabrication/installation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Master’s/MBA/PhD preferred.
- Required: Minimum 12 years in asset management, maintenance, utilities, reliability, or project engineering in the pharmaceutical industry; experience designing, constructing, commissioning or qualifying large manufacturing equipment on brown/green field sites; strong process engineering knowledge; large capital project management experience >$200 million; strong communication and prioritization skills; fluent in English; ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally; hybrid remote/in-office work location.
