Role Summary

IM PD Asset Management Readiness Lead at Johnson & Johnson. Location options include New Brunswick, Titusville, Raritan (NJ), Malvern or Horsham (PA). Leads site asset management during the IM project phase, driving vision, strategy, operating model, and budget for asset management across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee asset management design and processes to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable transition from project build to start-up, commissioning, handover to operations and maintenance.
  • Lead the creation of asset management strategy for greenfield and brownfield manufacturing and R&D facilities; develop organization structure, processes, systems, data management, and a 5-year plan.
  • Develop and implement a smart condition-based and predictive maintenance philosophy; build asset management master data and CMMS system.
  • Collaborate with Project, Site Engineering, and Facilities Management teams to integrate asset management across functions and ensure seamless handover from project to operations.
  • Define and implement end-state asset management organization, budgets, policies, and procedures; ensure integration with JJPS Managing Assets and FM Hard Services.
  • Oversee commissioning and qualification strategies, documentation, and handover to end-state engineering team.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Master’s/MBA/PhD preferred.
  • Required: Minimum 12 years in asset management, maintenance, utilities, reliability, or project engineering in the pharmaceutical industry; experience designing, constructing, commissioning or qualifying manufacturing equipment on large sites; strong process engineering knowledge; large capital project management experience >$200M; excellent communication and multi-priority management; fluent in English; 25% domestic/international travel; hybrid remote/in-office work location.
