Role Summary
The IDN Key Account Executive II will have full account responsibility and business ownership for assigned accounts to establish and grow HEPLISAV-B sales. Working with the Director, Vaccine Sales this position will serve as the primary account owner with assigned IDN, Independent and Group Practice accounts, driving top-down and bottom-up execution to expand adult Hepatitis B vaccination and increase adoption of HEPLISAV-B. This field-based role requires daily travel; ideal candidate resides near Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH, with consideration for other major metropolitan areas within the territory.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving sales targets and owning/managing customer relationships for assigned accounts, including large IDNs, independent customers, and group practices.
- Serve as sole owner for assigned accounts, executing at all levels of the customer organization to achieve goals/objectives.
- Demonstrate understanding of vaccine decision-making, adoption, and implementation processes with key decision makers across all levels.
- Develop, communicate, and monitor account strategies for each assigned account; conduct quarterly business reviews with the Director, Vaccine Sales.
- Execute all functions independently with minimal supervision from the Director, Vaccine Sales or mentor for executive-level engagements.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders responsible for vaccine implementation.
- Partner with Director, Vaccine Sales to execute sales and marketing strategies to support HEPLISAV-B expansion within assigned accounts.
- Understand competitive positioning, market dynamics, and customer business models to identify opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the Account Management system.
- Exercise sound judgment to ensure integrity and compliance with company policies in all activities and communications.

Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; MBA preferred.
- Required: 3+ years of life sciences sales experience; IDN/Hospital experience preferred.
- Required: 2 years of vaccine or buy & bill experience.
- Required: 2+ years of strategic account management experience preferred.
- Required: Knowledge of the IDN/Hospital landscape within the assigned territory.
- Required: Previous health system account management experience is highly preferred.
- Required: Strong strategic vision, business acumen, and influencing skills; track record of sales growth and superb account management.
- Required: Financial/budget management experience.
- Required: Knowledge of large health systems and immunization-related quality initiatives.
- Required: Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Required: Ability to drive business results and identify opportunities through strategic thinking and planning.
- Required: Experience in matrix management and change management.
- Required: Heavy travel; must be able to operate a motor vehicle and sit for prolonged periods, reach with arms, lift/move small objects, and perform repetitive wrist/hand movement.
- Required: Ability to obtain all industry credentials and certifications.
- Preferred: C-suite leadership and account management experience within IDNs and Hospitals.
