Role Summary
IDN Account Manager for the West Coast territory (CA - LA area preferred). Responsible for managing assigned IDN/Hospital accounts, expanding presence in Injectable/Oncology/IDN and Specialty channels, and achieving sales objectives through contract compliance and strategic account development.
Responsibilities
- Maintain contract compliance while generating pull-through sales at IDN-Corporate and hospital levels; act as the specialist for key health systems within the territory.
- Own the assigned accounts and develop a deep understanding of the market and competitors.
- Represent and promote the companyβs products in a professional, productive manner.
- Drive contract compliance, maintain current business, and develop new business with excellent customer service.
- Maintain competitive intelligence and report it; provide weekly updates to Marketing, Contracts, Customer Service & Sales Management; be a strong team player.
- Lead discussions and share information about health systems and hospital markets.
- Exceed sales goals and position Dr. Reddyβs as a key health systems player.
- Overnight travel required 30-40%
Qualifications
- Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree
- Minimum work experience: 5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry (generic injectable experience preferred) with a proven track record in IDN-Health Systems and hospital markets
Skills
- Proven, experienced representative or buyer with strong industry knowledge
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Time management, prioritization, calendaring, route planning, territory ownership
- Ability to work independently and achieve success; ability to engage with decision makers
