Position Summary
Senior Software Engineer - Identity Resolution & Master Data Management designs, builds, and operates production identity capabilities for regulated clinical workflows, including matching, linking, merging, and separating identity records under auditable controls so clinical information lands on the correct patient/provider records.

Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain identity-resolution and MDM services for patient and provider data.
- Develop and tune deterministic/probabilistic matching across names, addresses, dates of birth, contact info, identifiers, and approved attributes.
- Implement merge/unmerge/link/separate workflows with durable audit trails and downstream safeguards.
- Define/monitor resolution-quality, data-quality, performance, and reliability measures; investigate anomalies.
- Own data models, APIs, and integration patterns connecting clinical systems.
- Partner with product/data governance/clinical ops/compliance/engineering to refine requirements and manage identity-related risks.
- Maintain technical documentation (design docs, ADRs, data-flow docs, operational runbooks).
- Review code; contribute automated unit/integration/regression/performance tests.
- Automate recurring engineering/operational tasks.
- Support production services; participate in incident response, RCA, and corrective actions.
- Mentor engineers via code review, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications
- BS in CS/Software/Data Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years production software engineering; 3+ years entity-resolution/record-linkage/MDM in production.
- 2+ years integrations via APIs, event-driven, or batch pipelines.
- Track record implementing matching logic with measurable quality controls.
- SDLC mastery with automated testing, code review, and controlled production delivery.
- Production observability/incident response/RCA experience.
- Hands-on fluency with AI coding assistants and agentic development workflows.

Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare/clinical lab/diagnostics/life sciences experience.
- MPI or enterprise identity-resolution platforms.
- HL7 and FHIR familiarity.
- SQL/database performance depth.
- Graph databases/probabilistic methods/ML for entity resolution.
- SOX ITGCs or FDA 21 CFR controls; CLIA/HIPAA environments.

Other
- Location: Irving, TX (Dallas–Fort Worth), on-site/hybrid, minimum 3 days/week.
- Possible travel; on-call/after-hours response for critical identity/data issues.
